fitMS programs are designed to improve physical and emotional well being and reduce the fatigue associated with MS and other chronic conditions. fitMS is intended for people with MS, Parkinson's, Lupus, arthritis and other conditions that cause fatigue and challenge our balance and mobility. The physical fitness portion of the program utilizes the best of yoga, tai chi, Pilates and stability ball techniques to improve balance, strength, flexibility and range of motion. A recent study by the Oregon Health and Science University, found that yoga or exercise significantly improved fatigue in MS patients.
The fitMS fitness program is designed to reduce fatigue, improve balance, coordination, flexibility, strength and range of motion. Our classes are challenging without being exhausting. The goal is to help you increase your energy level and improve your emotional well being as you improve your physical health.
