Peak Potential, Inc. is a volunteer run, non-profit organization dedicated to helping children with disabilities reach new heights. Utilizing indoor rock climbing we strive to help children with neurological, muscular, skeletal, orthopedic, or developmental conditions develop their self-confidence, trust, and responsibility.

The Peak Potential adapted, therapeutic, indoor rock climbing program was established by residents in the field of physical medicine and rehabilitation at the University of Medicine and Dentistry-New Jersey Medical School and further developed with the help of physiatrists, therapists and climbers. The initial goal was to provide a psychologically beneficial activity for children with physical and developmental disabilities to improve self-esteem, cooperation, and trust. The goals have since grown to include the utilization of climbing movements in a scientific manner to address strengthening, motor control, and flexibility.
