Notes

Colorado Wheelchair Softball was founded in 1996 to help promote Coloradoans with disabilities to actively participate in America's Greatest Pastime. Since our inception, we have helped countless individuals with physical impairments learn to compete on an equal yet competitive playing field through the introduction of wheelchair softball.

Many of our players, both past and present, have learned to become active and productive members of society both directly and indirectly through the self confidence-building techniques one learns through team sports.

Our mission is to further support the introduction of the sport to children, women and minorities with physical disabilities as well as to foster an avenue for elite athletes to compete at their highest level.

The Rockies Wheelchair Softball team challenges any able-bodied softball team to a game of wheelchair softball at the new Jason Jennings Adaptive Field in Lakewood.

Wheelchairs, instruction and excitement will be provided.
