Notes

Camp Victory is an inclusive summer camp program for children with special needs and their typically developing peers and siblings, ages 5–12. Camp Victory is held at the beautiful Lickskillet Ranch, only 20 minutes from The Arc of Caddo-Bossier. The Lickskillet Ranch is home of the therapeutic horseback riding center GREAT (Greenwood Equine Assisted Therapies, Inc.), which is one of our feature activities. The ranch also has 400 acres, 2 large ponds, and endless opportunities for recreation. Children participate in activities such as horseback riding, sports, arts and crafts, hiking, science and nature studies, falconry and gardening.

Camp Victory is held the first 2 weeks in June with 33 children attending each wee. The fee for typically developing children is $100.00 which helps cover registration, food, supplies, and transportation. We have received donations for scholarships for children with special needs, therefore their fee is $50.00. The Arc of Caddo-Bossier will have a handicapped accessible bus to shuttle the campers to and from the camp site, leaving from and returning to The Arc of Caddo-Bossier at 351 Jordan Street. Mid-morning snacks and lunch will be provided for campers along with lots of water and juice throughout the morning activities.
