Therapeutic Riding Center, founded by Calli Ahrmann in 2008, is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to encouraging the physical and mental development of children and adults with social, emotional, psychological, or physical disabilities. The program also is effective in addressing the needs of the children and adults who have been victims of violence or abuse as well as for youth at risk. Reins To Recovery\\\'s equine-facilitated approach incorporates cognitive, behavioral, psychological, and physical goals to increase self-confidence, self-esteem, physical independence, and social awareness.
