For 21 years National Stroke Association has been a leader in improving all aspects of stroke care in the US. Guided by its mission to reduce the incidence and impact of stroke, National Stroke Association has educated medical professionals, the public, and stroke survivors and caregivers about all aspects of stroke: prevention, acute treatment, and rehabilitation and recovery. National Stroke Association has a helpline that provides information and referrals on stroke, in addition to free publications.
