• Abilities United ( formerly C.A.R (Community Association for Rehabilitation, Inc.) is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization for children and adults with developmental disabilities (intellectual disabilities, cerebral palsy, Down Syndrome, autism, and other neurodevelopmental conditions causing developmental delays) who live in Santa Clara and San Mateo counties. Each year, over 2,500 people and their families use our services.

• Children's Development: Early Intervention, Milestones Preschool, Therapy Clinic
• Family Support: After School Socialization, Respite, Computer Education
• Adult Services: Day Activities, Community Connections, Independent Living Skills, Employment Services
• Aquatic Services: Fitness, Rehabilitation, Recreation offered at the Betty Wright Swim Center, an indoor, fully-accessible 92 degree heated pool; provides wellness, prevention and independence through hydrotherapy activities, swimming and aquatic exercise classes for the general community.
