  • The Center for Positive Aging prepares people of all ages for an expanded and healthy long life. The Center is a partnership of congregations, individuals, and community organizations working together to provide resources and educational opportunities for older adults and their families. The Center and GAHSA(Georgia Association of Homes and Services for the Aging) work together to pursue funding and share resources to develop programs and services focused on "Successful Aging."

Through our programs, services, and affiliations, we educate people of all ages and walks of life about Successful Aging. The Center is positioned to be a resource to families through the CONNECT Data Base. We have the ability to connect families in our affiliate congregations to aging services, such as: Adult Day Care, alternative living communities, home delivered meals and health and wellness agencies. The Center partners with Subject Matter Experts in various fields of expertise to educate older people and their families about necessary legal issues, care-giving, the new discount prescription drug program, long term care insurance and many more.
