The National MS Society is committed to ensuring that healthcare professionals receive the training and education they need to have a maximum impact on the lives of people living with MS. The Know MS Professional Education Scholarship Program was created to further educate healthcare providers, care managers and other allied health professionals about this complicated chronic disease. The grant can be used to cover costs associated with MS certifications as well as to attend meetings, conferences or courses sponsored by organizations that serve people with MS. Grants may be available for other offerings that are not specific to MS, but do offer sessions or workshops on the topic. The AOTA Adult Cognition Specialty Conference being offered in St. Louis has been pre-approved for Know MS scholarship monies.
