This is a story of one man, Emmanuel Ofosu Yeboah, who has risen above a severe physical challenge to become an inspiration to people around the world.

Emmanuel embarked on a remarkable and heroic journey to pedal a bike across Ghana on one leg in order to change his country\'s negative perception of the disabled. Of the twenty million people in Ghana, two million are disabled, often shunned or persecuted by their fellow countrymen. Emmanuel\'s amazing story has become the story of an award-winning documentary, Emmanuel\'s Gift, narrated by Oprah Winfrey. His courage and determination has been recognized with the 2003 Casey Martin Award from Nike and the 2005 Arthur Ashe Courage Award from ESPN.

Join the Illinois Holocaust Museum & Education Center for an awe-inspiring discussion, as we learn the compelling and inspirational story of a man whose unwavering motivation has changed a nation and its people forever.
