The Center for Persons with Disabilities at Utah State University is accepting applications for a researcher/co-investigator to join the K-3 Plus project. The K-3 Plus project is a very large 5-year grant secured with U.S. Department of Education, private, and public funds. Project staff will assess, using a randomized control design, the child and cost outcomes of an extended school year in 4 districts in New Mexico. The result of this project will have national impact on key issues in improving outcomes for students, namely if extended school year is an effective model and if it can be accomplished at reasonable costs.
