The VISTA Project Manager will supervise all VISTA members and their project activities in Northern Nevada as well as the Southern Nevada VISTA supervisor, who is responsible for all project activity in Southern Nevada. In addition, this position will also work closely with all People First chapters- a statewide self-advocacy organization for people with developmental disabilities, to mentor and advise chapter activities.

The ideal applicant will have knowledge of disability services, community services, self-determination, inclusion and independent living programs. He/she should have the ability to advocate for and help individuals with disabilities become independent and effective self-advocates, train diverse audiences, be sensitive to disabilities and diversity issues and work with adults and students with disabilities and their families.
