This year Madison Winter Festival will again be offering an Adaptive Sit Ski Program for people with physical disabilities. Participants will be presented with an opportunity to attend a seminar at the Wisconsin Veterans Museum followed by a session of skiing on the Capitol Square. Sandy Metzger (USSA Disabled Program Director) and Jon Kreamelmeyer (Disabled Cross-Country Head Coach) will be the program guests and run the seminar and technique sessions during the weekend. Skiing will also be offered on Sunday. Equipment will be provided for use during the event. Volunteers will instruct and assist with lifts and transfers for skiers on each of the days.
