The Arc will present an informative webinar about dementia and intellectual disabilities. The webinar will offer a comprehensive overview of dementia, including behaviors and symptoms of dementia, the different types, and the risk factors that can result in misdiagnosing and adult with an intellectual disability with dementia. Examples will be given to show the difference between Alzheimer's and dementia in adults with intellectual disabilities as compared to the general population.
