Lakeshore Foundation is currently seeking an energetic, creative, resourceful, self-starter with experience in conducting lab testing for research related to exercise science.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Conduct all Human Performance Testing (e.g., strength, balance, oxygen consumption, body composition)

 Maintain laboratory area (equipment calibration, maintenance & repair, ordering supplies); oversee equipment checkout; order supplies

 Responsible for keeping equipment in good working order and for contacting equipment rep for servicing equipment

 Oversee all aspects of exercise testing for research, program evaluation, and athlete performance:

determine protocols; recruit and schedule participants; collect, enter, manage data

 Process data; interpret and write up results

 Training university students and conducting lab classes

 Provide feedback to participants

 Assist with testing methodology section for grant applications

 Create data collection forms, spreadsheets, and flyers

 Conduct literature searches

QUALIFICATIONS:

 Master�s degree in Exercise Science or related field

 Strong technical skills operating and maintaining equipment

 Intermediate computer skills

 Experience with Excel and PowerPoint

 Strong verbal and written communication skills

 Strong organizational and office managerial skills

 Minimum 3 years of experience conducting lab testing related to exercise science and fitness testing for research

 CPR, Standard First Aid and AED required (or willingness to obtain within 90 days)
