AUCD is currently seeking a dynamic individual to serve as a Project Manager working under the supervision of the LEND Technical Assistance Director. The individual filling this position will coordinate technical assistance activities of AUCD\\\'s cooperative agreement with the Maternal Child Health Bureau (MCHB). The cooperative agreement provides funding for the Interdisciplinary Technical Assistance Center (ITAC), supporting the national networks of MCHB-funded Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and related Disabilities (LEND) and Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics (DBP) training programs.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the MCHB Project Director and staff in the coordination of technical assistance and network activities
  • Coordinate the creation of technical assistance events such as site visits, meetings, webinars, and workgroups
  • Respond to requests for information and assistance with federal staff and Project Officers from the Maternal Child Heath Bureau and other partners
  • Address emerging needs within the maternal child health and developmental disabilities fields by supporting workgroups on issues of topical importance
  • Facilitate progress report development and project documentation to include evaluation
  • Provide information to the AUCD network and the general public as appropriate on project efforts through web postings, newsletters, and electronic publications
  • Represent the AUCD office, AUCD network members, and the cooperative agreement at meetings and conferences locally and nationally
  • Carryout other activities that further the mission and goals of AUCD
