- Only the four wheels of the chair (and the anti-tip device, if applicable) may touch the floor during contact with the ball
- Offensive players may not remain in the opponents' key area for more than 10 seconds at a time. The key area is the area directly in front of the goal line.
- Only three defensive players can be in their own key area at the same time. Penalties are assessed if a fourth team member enters the key area.
- A team has 15 seconds to advance the ball from back court to front court (over the mid-line). Once the ball has reached the front court, players may not return to the back court. A team must inbound the ball within 10 seconds.
