- The two teams alternate throws until each team member has thrown a rock down the ice one time.
- One point is awarded to the team if the rock is located closer to the center of the opponent's closest rock.
- Rocks that are outside of "the house" (outside the 12 foot ring) are not scored, even if they are located closer to the center than their opponent's rock.
