Comfort Level Around Water


To be safe on or near the water, one of the best things you can do is to be aware of your own comfort level around the water. This can be affected by any health concerns that might change your awareness or reaction time (seizure, medications, etc.). Identify your comfort level when you are:
  • At the water's edge
  • In the water up to your waist
  • In the water up to your neck
  • In water over your head
