March has been a month when several news stories that involve people with disabilities and dance have caught my eye. Dancing with the Stars, the ABC hit competition show that pairs professional ballroom dancers with celebrities, has recently announced that Marlee Matlin, an actress with a hearing impairment, will be joining the cast. In addition, a Youtube clip featuring a dance performance by a young man and woman, both with amputations, has been making waves on the Internet.
