If it is too difficult to find the expertise to make the necessary accommodation, it need not be made. An example is the use of a sign language interpreter. It is possible that in rural settings, where sign language interpreters are likely to be few and far between, a sport and recreation provider may not be able to secure an interpreter at the time and place necessary. If so, it shall provide other effective accommodations, such as a note taker, or a script of oral instruction. There is no clear guidance on how hard the entity must try to find, in this example, a sign language interpreter. Again, this provision is to be narrowly interpreted.
