Participants

Four individuals with stable CIDP, 16 with GBS, and ten healthy individuals matched for age and sex participated in this study. Participants with CIDP or GBS were required to have fatigue severity scores (FSS) of at least 5 out of 7 and a disability score less than or equal to 3. Participants were excluded if they suffered fatigue before the onset of disease, used medicine possibly influencing fatigue, were depressed, or had hypertension. Participants were withdrawn if they couldn't train for three consecutive sessions or experienced severe adverse events. All subjects went through initial assessments including a neurological and physical exam, assessment scales on fatigue, anxiety and depression, disability, and quality of life.
