NCPAD'S video,"Exercise Program for Individuals with Spinal Cord Injuries: Paraplegia," was funded by the Christopher & Dana Reeve Paralysis Resource Center and developed in conjunction with the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago and the National Center on Health, Physical Activity, and Disability. It is designed for individuals with paraplegia, and features a 25-minute aerobic segment, as well as strengthening and flexibility segments for a well-rounded exercise program. Warm-up and cool-down exercises are also included. This video is available in DVD and VHS formats. A closed captioning feature is available for both formats.

Title: Sit and be Fit

This video has the same format as the "Sit and be Fit" television program shown on PBS. This is not a cardiovascular workout, but a toning and stretching program which has proven to be extremely beneficial to older adults, people with chronic and/or physical limitations, and those who have been sedentary for a long period of time. Most of the 30-Minute Workout is done sitting in a chair, but there are some standing exercises. Total running time: Approximately 27 minutes.
