Description
The mission of the American Canoe Association (ACA) is to promote the health, social and personal benefits of canoeing, kayaking and rafting and to serve the needs of all paddlers for safe, enjoyable and quality paddling opportunities.
The ACA strives to communicate the benefits of canoeing, kayaking and rafting as lifetime recreation and keeps participants informed about paddlesport opportunities and activities, thus helping to "grow" the sport.
ACA's mission, membership, programming and education areas successfully reflect the diversity of today's Paddlesport community. No other US paddling organization has kept pace with ACA's success in attracting members or corporate sponsors. ACA's membership has grown from 5,000 to 50,000 in less than 10 years.
