Camp Discovery is a residential camp offering young people with diabetes a week of fun. Opportunities such as outdoor recreation, arts and crafts, horseback riding, education and the excitement of developing close friendships with other campers and counselors make this a special place. Special attention to diabetes makes Camp Discovery a safe environment for active youth while providing valuable diabetes management education.
Camp Discovery is held at the Rock Springs 4H Center / WaShunGa Area. The Rock Springs 4H Center / WaShunGa Area provides many of the services for Camp Discovery on a contract basis with the American Diabetes Association.
No one gets bored at Rock Springs 4H Center! Activities include arts and crafts, swimming, boating, fishing, horseback riding, archery, riflery, hiking, a variety of sports and much more.
