Camp Courageous provides many challenging activities in a safe and comfortable environment. Camp Courageous of Iowa is a year-round respite and recreational facility for individuals of all ages with disabilities. Camp Courageous offers many activities that vary in difficulty and challenge. All activities are based on the "Challenge by Choice" concept. This means that no one will be forced to participate in or fully complete any activity. Instead, they choose the amount of challenge that they want to have in the activity of their choosing. Campers set their own goals and staff will help with the achievement.
