Notes

Alabama School for the Deaf hosts an annual week-long summer camp for students with hearing loss ages 6-15 residing in Alabama who do not currently attend ASD. The enrichment camp gives students a chance to interact with other children who have hearing loss, enjoy some fun field trips, spend time horseback riding, swimming, skating, learning arts and crafts and more. Assessments in vision, hearing, intellectual and social maturity are available for potential students. Summer Camp begins with a Family Fun Weekend.

Recreation: swimming, skating, outdoor games, horseback riding, field trips, arts and crafts, etc. Assessments in vision, hearing, intellectual and social maturity are available for potential students.

There is no charge for the camp for Alabama residents. There is a $10 charge for a summer camp t-shirt and your child will need spending money for field trips; we suggest $40.
