Notes

An alternative to traditional summer recreation programs - a resort for adults with mild or moderate intellectual disability with an extended Fall season.

Harriman Lodge offers a wide variety of age-appropriate recreational and social activities allowing for guest input and decision. The activities include (but are not limited to) music, dance, arts and crafts, "creative living" (activities of daily living), nature, sports, horseback riding, boating and swimming. Guests choose activities to partake in (there are three or four daily), with gentle guidance and direction offered by staff members. The wide range of activities are designed to produce a structured, yet relaxing atmosphere that encourages self-development.
