Notes

The Kostopulos Dream Foundation is an agency dedicated to improving the lives of people with disabilities. For over thirty years, they have offered recreational opportunities for individuals of all ages and abilities.

Their longest running program, Camp Kostopulos, is a residential summer camp where kids, teens, or adults with disabilities are able to engage in a variety of activities.
During a week long stay, campers go fishing, ride horses, camp out, sing songs, work on arts and crafts projects, challenge themselves on the ropes course, make new friends and renew old friendships.

Other campers may opt to enjoy a week on the road as a participant in the Travel Trip program. Groups of campers and staff go on week long camp trips to places such as Moab or Jackson Hole. River running, hiking, seeing wildlife, and visiting attractions are all a part of these trips.

Their highly trained staff, excellent ratios, and fantastic accommodations set us above the rest. During the rest of the year, clients may be a part of their community based recreation programs. They offer the K-Kid Adventures after school program for kids 7-12, the Teen Quest program that allows teens to socialize and engage in a variety of activities, and the Adult Social Club. They also offer programs and facility rentals to many different corporate and social groups. The Leadership Challenge program uses high and low challenge course events, and initiative programming to provide an excellent nontraditional training opportunity for any group that may benefit.

Finally private rentals of the Camp Kostopulos facility are offered on weekends in the summer, and throughout the year. Weddings, retreats, school field trips, and company picnics can all be accommodated at their site.

Service and volunteerism are at the heart of any nonprofit agency. Their success has been facilitated by the kindness and generosity of their community. Volunteers give their time and effort to assist in the programs or work on physical projects at camp.
