Notes

The best thing about diabetes camp is making friends your age who know exactly what it's like to have diabetes. You never have to explain what it's like to be high or low, or how tough it can be to stick to your meal plan, or any of the other things that go along with having diabetes. Camp friends last a lifetime! Camp is also a good place for kids and families to learn better ways to deal with diabetes from the experiences of "old" diabetics. The number 1 reason to come to camp? FUN! Diabetes can not stop you from having fun or living a full life!
