Membership Fees
  • Fee to participate in the Program : $25. The camp fee includes round-trip bus transportation from the Diabetes Society office to camp, meals, cabin accommodations, camp picture, T-shirt, and diabetes education materials.

Notes

Camp De Los Ni�os is located just off of scenic route Highway 9 in the beautiful redwood forest of the Santa Cruz Mountains. Join youth from all over California for a week of fun, educational activities and programs. Develop skill in the ancient sport of archery, rock climb up a wall, be creative with arts and crafts. Do it all while having a positive experience learning how to manage your diabetes. This is an experience that will last a lifetime.

Physical activities include backpacking, field sports, volleyball, cable slide, climbing wall, archery, and swimming. In addition, there is time for quiet activities, crafts, and nature study. Some basic concepts in diabetes management and control are presented. Evening campfire programs include group singing, skits, and other fun age-appropriate activities.
