Notes

Camp Good Days and Special Times, Inc. is a non-profit organization that provides a camping experience and more for children and adults facing the toughest challenges of life. Children touched by cancer, and other life challenges, gather Camp Good Days’ Recreational Facility located on the shores of Keuka Lake in the heart of the Finger Lakes Region to spark new smiles, re-kindle friendships and enjoy a week where they can simply be kids. The weekend camping programs for men and women with cancer become a place where old bonds are strengthened and new ones created. It is a place where smiles are the norm and hugs mandatory, a place where visions are born and dreams discovered, a place where courage knows no boundaries. It is Camp Good Days and Special Times.

Campers have a chance to experience all the traditional camping activities such as hiking, sailing, fishing and arts & crafts at our Keuka Lake facility. Camp also features a Project Adventure ropes course, an accessible swimming pool, miniature golf course, areas for music, nature and computers.

Camp Good Days provides programs and services to improve the quality of life for children and families whose lives have been touched by cancer and other life challenges.

Often when people are faced with situations that will have a deep impact on their lives, they seek out others who are facing the same challenges. Camp Good Days is there to help people through the difficult times.

  • The Teddi Project - Since its inception 1982, The Teddi Project has helped over 1500 children with life threatening illnesses in making their dreams come true. The project has provided a rainbow of wishes such as a new bicycle, computer system, a visit to see grandparents, trips to a sporting event, the opportunity to meet a celebrity, or a tutor to help with school work. Children have also had the opportunity to go on trips to Florida, Washington D. C., Maryland, Toronto, and California.

  • Cancer In The Classroom - Cancer is often comes with many mysteries to those who have it and those who don't. Cancer In The Classroom is a program where staff members from Camp Good Days and Special Times visit area schools to educate teachers, school nurses and staff about cancer and the effects it has on those who are diagnosed with it. It is through education that the world becomes a more caring place. Contact us and find out how Camp Good Days and Special Times can come to your school.

  • Gary Amendola Fun Fund - This fund is in support of year-round activities for the children of Camp Good Days. The fund is in memory of Camp Good Days and Special Times' board member Gary Amendola. The monies help to fund day trips, train rides, tickets to sporting events, holiday parties, buses, and much more. With the help of the Gary Amendola Fun Club Fund, campers can have special times all year round. Find out how you can help at our Donations Page.

  • Camp Good Days and Special Times Foundation Scholarship Fund - Provides a scholarship for children who have been diagnosed with cancer, and have had an association with Camp Good Days and Special Times. Donations can be made to help fund this scholarship.
