About | Hi! im ashley and I love to be active outdoors, its one thing i truly miss doing since i fell. Introducing my son into all the activities i did growing up and finding his little niche was always my dream, on top of traveling with my family! I used to love golfing, rock climbing, running, hiking, swimming, throwing the ball with my boy, and snowboarding. I suffered a TBI and experienced Post concussion syndrome, so a lot of activities are hard to me to participate in, but Im learning ways to allow me to participate in life again. I am excited to learn some new exercises as well as find some other fun ways to stay active indoors during the winter months. I think learning more about nutrition will also help me to control my weight better and hoping it will help fix my cholesterol levels so I can avoid medicine. I hope to connect with people who have similar interests to me! |

Welcome to NCPAD's 14-Week Program to a Healthier You!
What is the program?
- Description: A free, personalized, web-based physical activity and nutrition program
- Target Audience: People with mobility limitations, chronic health conditions and physical disabilities
- Goal: To help you get moving and making healthy nutrition choices
- Duration: 14 weeks
How does it work?
- You register for the program and tell us a little about yourself.
- We take the information you gave us and, to the best of our abilities, provide you with personalized resources and exercises that meet your individual needs over the course of 14 weeks.
- Because there is new material each week that builds on the previous weeks, the program works best if you visit at least once a week.
