About I am a healthy overweight person. I eat fairly highly nutrition dense foods but I like to eat sweet foods. I am about 40 pounds overweight. I would like to use these next 14 weeks to lose at least 20 of the 40 pounds. I love too play tennis but only play about 2-3 hours a week. I love to garden but that is soon coming to an end. My blood pressure averages about 110/60 and my fasting blood sugar averages about 92. I am 5’8” and 68 years old. I do not take any medication. I prefer a vegan diet. Not keen on eating animals for several reasons, climate, humanitarian, quality is lackey and what’s they are fed these days is not natural to them.

Welcome to NCPAD's 14-Week Program to a Healthier You!

What is the program?

  • Description: A free, personalized, web-based physical activity and nutrition program
  • Target Audience: People with mobility limitations, chronic health conditions and physical disabilities
  • Goal: To help you get moving and making healthy nutrition choices
  • Duration: 14 weeks

How does it work?

  • You register for the program and tell us a little about yourself.
  • We take the information you gave us and, to the best of our abilities, provide you with personalized resources and exercises that meet your individual needs over the course of 14 weeks.
  • Because there is new material each week that builds on the previous weeks, the program works best if you visit at least once a week.
