About | My name is Fauzia. I am a Pharmacist and was working full time till Nov 2019. This is when I had to go on disability. Life changed from being overactive and always multitasking to being able to do barely anything. I was diagnosed with MS in Feb 2005. I am a very strong person and approach problems with a positive approach. I kept trying to be as normal as I could by carefully noticing what was happening to my body and being in touch with my medical care team. I have been very compliant and have tried to find ways around obstacles. As my disease advanced to Progressive MS and added problems like Spondylitis, lower back pain dues to slip disc and Leveosclerosis, sciatica and weakness in left foot, drop foot and major depression. All this became very hard to overcome with my will power. I have stopped tending to my home and have stopped cooking. I also have fatty liver disease that is worsening. Due to immobility I have gained 70lbs. I am interested in learning more about diet and exercise to loose my weight and feel better. My goal is to get moving. I have lost my ability to schedule my day. I look forward to being back on a schedule. This will help me get back into the world.I lack self motivation to exercise and hope that this program can get me somewhat back on track. |

What is the program?
- Description: A free, personalized, web-based physical activity and nutrition program
- Target Audience: People with mobility limitations, chronic health conditions and physical disabilities
- Goal: To help you get moving and making healthy nutrition choices
- Duration: 14 weeks
How does it work?
- You register for the program and tell us a little about yourself.
- We take the information you gave us and, to the best of our abilities, provide you with personalized resources and exercises that meet your individual needs over the course of 14 weeks.
- Because there is new material each week that builds on the previous weeks, the program works best if you visit at least once a week.
