About My name is Priscilla Thermidor. I enjoy outdoor activity. I go for walks outside daily. I live in Philadelphia, which is a busy city. I enjoy the atmosphere and being outside. I plan to explore more of the parks in my area. I have multiple sclerosis. This can be limiting to my body and mind at times. Mainly, my back and legs are effected when I am stressed. However, generally i am healthy and can move normally. I l am excited to learn some new exercises as well as find some other fun ways to stay active indoors during the winter months. I think learning more about nutrition will also help me to control my weight better. I have physical goals id like to reach, doing push-ups, increasing my core and leg strength. While i don’t care to workout with other people this may be a good experience to meet people who have similar interests to me and are also looking to increase their activity.

Welcome to NCPAD's 14-Week Program to a Healthier You!

What is the program?

  • Description: A free, personalized, web-based physical activity and nutrition program
  • Target Audience: People with mobility limitations, chronic health conditions and physical disabilities
  • Goal: To help you get moving and making healthy nutrition choices
  • Duration: 14 weeks

How does it work?

  • You register for the program and tell us a little about yourself.
  • We take the information you gave us and, to the best of our abilities, provide you with personalized resources and exercises that meet your individual needs over the course of 14 weeks.
  • Because there is new material each week that builds on the previous weeks, the program works best if you visit at least once a week.
