About Hello! My Name is Kietia (kee-sha)and I live with MS. It sucks that I can not be as active as I once was, but, I attended a MS support group and learned that I can still exercise, just not the same way or with the same intensity that I used to before my life completely changed. Regardless of that I am on a mission to prove the doctor who told me that I would never walk again WRONG!!!! The jerk! I have been walking (although not gracefully, kinda akin to a new born doe who hasn't gotten it feet up under it yet) for the last 2.5 years and will continue to do so for as many years as my body will allow. I an TOO excited to begin this program and feel a step closer to myself again :-)

Welcome to NCPAD's 14-Week Program to a Healthier You!

What is the program?

  • Description: A free, personalized, web-based physical activity and nutrition program
  • Target Audience: People with mobility limitations, chronic health conditions and physical disabilities
  • Goal: To help you get moving and making healthy nutrition choices
  • Duration: 14 weeks

How does it work?

  • You register for the program and tell us a little about yourself.
  • We take the information you gave us and, to the best of our abilities, provide you with personalized resources and exercises that meet your individual needs over the course of 14 weeks.
  • Because there is new material each week that builds on the previous weeks, the program works best if you visit at least once a week.
