NCHPAD - Building Healthy Inclusive Communities

Host an Inclusive Fitness Training

Interested in knowing more about working with individuals with a disability or are you wanting to take the ACSM/ NCHPAD Certified Inclusive Fitness Trainer certification, but would like to be better equipped before you do? Consider hosting a training. NCHPAD staff can host a training virtually or in person covering all the knowledge and skill assessments you need to know to take the exam or to just better prepare your staff to work with individuals with a disability.

The following criteria must be met to host a free in person inclusive fitness training:

  • Your organization must cover the cost of staff labor and travel.
  • We will provide you with graphics and flyers, but you must cover all the promotional advertising.
  • There must be at least 50 participants.  *Occasionally this number may be modified slightly though we encourage hosts to open the training up to other fitness professionals and the community as a whole.
Still have questions? You can call us at 1-800-900-8086 or email Kelly Bonner at kellyb@lakeshore.org.
