Looking for participants for an online survey for mothers with physical or mobility disabilities
UMass Medical School would like to learn about the health care experiences of mothers with physical or mobility disabilities during pregnancy. Accessibility of Accommodation Facilities
Drs. Lauren Lieberman and Ozkan Tutuncu from the Department of Kinesiology, Sport Studies, and Physical Education at the College at Brockport, SUNY, are conducting a study to determine the accessibility of accommodation facilities in the life experiences of people with disabilities.
They have created a questionnaire for people with disabilities, their families and traveling companions to determine experiences, opinions, barriers, successes, etc. The questionnaire should take approximately 10 minutes to complete, and the results are expected to help improve the accessibility of tourism facilities.

Effective Communication and the ADA
Effective communication methods are used to ensure that people of all abilities can fully receive and comprehend messages and content being presented to them in any number of formats. Effective communication may be used in any number of settings, including healthcare, government agencies and services, transportation, and employment. This webinar will address effective communication requirements under the ADA, as well as how they have been interpreted via regulations and legislative action.
