Ingredients
- 4 vine-ripe tomatoes
- 8 ounces fresh mozzarella cheese
- 8 basil leaves
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
Directions
- Slice tomatoes and mozzarella into quarter-inch thick pieces.
- Arrange the tomatoes and mozzarella on a plate in an alternating pattern.
- Rip up the basil leaves with your hands and place in between the tomato and cheese slices.
- Sprinkle with a pinch of salt and pepper and then drizzle with olive oil.
