Partners and Collaborators Include:  Gold's Gym, Planet Fitness, Wilmington Family YMCA, New Hanover County Parks and Recreation Department, disability resource center, self-advocacy group

The Wilmington inclusive health coalition has worked extensively to determine how best to spread its impact across the community. As they have found other partners in disability, health, and inclusion, they have found Gold's Gym to be their first partner with whom they have taken collaborative action. Gold's has committed to having at least one of their fitness professionals become a Certified Inclusive Fitness Trainer (CIFT), a certification created by NCHPAD and the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) to give fitness professionals the additional education and skill needed to train clients with all manner of disability.
