Krystal Cantu

Krystal was introduced to CrossFit in 2013 and trained out of 8808 Crossfit in San Antonio, Texas. A few months into CrossFit she was involved in a car accident that resulted in the amputation of her right arm. She returned to CrossFit one month later with a stronger heart and bigger fire burning within her to succeed despite the curveball she was thrown. Krystal began competing in both adaptive and scaled competitions around the United States and with the help of some incredible coaches and support teams was able to hit personal records that exceeded those she had with two arms. Krystal continues to work hard day in and day out to reach goals and help inspire others to reach theirs. A motto she encourages is, "Your physical capacity has nothing to do with what you can achieve in life". Krystal says that loosing her arm has been the best thing to happen to her. She has met incredible individuals on this journey and have been blessed with opportunities that could only be dreamt of.  It should never take a traumatic experience for someone to realize how incredibly strong you are on the inside. Her purpose here on earth is to help everyone find their strength within themselves sooner than later.  Krystal recently moved to West Palm Beach, Florida and now trains at CrazyTrain CrossFit.

My name is Krystal Cantu and I am a 1st Phorm CrossFit Adaptive Athlete.
