Instagram, Flickr, Photobucket, Pinterest, and Other Image Sharing Sites

Image sharing sites provide a platform on which users can post photographs. These images can be altered, categorized, viewed, tagged, and/or shared by others.  As cell phones have evolved to provide more and more individuals with cameras that can immediately upload to these sites, they have grown tremendously in popularity.

Inclusion Guidelines
  • When uploading original content, include pictures that feature people with disabilities, as well as images that include them in the background.
  • If the user has a wide variety of categories, galleries, and/or boards of original and/or found pictures and/or content, include one or more categories/galleries/boards/etc. specific to disability.
