An informed consent was signed prior to participation in the case study. The subject was taking prednisone and azathioprine for his MG. He also took 5 grams of creatine per day in conjunction with a resistance exercise program three times per week. Body weight and fat free mass were measured before and after intervention through hydrostatic weighing. Peak upper and lower extremity strength was measured throughout the case study. Maximal isokinetic leg flexion and extension were measured on the dominant leg via isokinetic Cybex II machines. Fasting blood samples were also obtained.
