Environment

Beep baseball is played on a field with a home base and two bases, first and third.  The baselines from home plate to the outfield should be in a right angle pattern.  Bases should be 100 feet from home plate and 10 feet into foul territory.  A pitching rubber should be placed 21.5 feet from home plate and measure no longer than 30 inches.  Batted balls must travel at least 40 feet, so an equidistant line from foul line to foul line is used to mark this distance.

Equipment

Beep baseball requires multiple pieces of unique equipment.  As the name implies, the ball is specially designed to beep, weighs approximately 16 ounces, and has a circumference of 16 inches.  Each of the two bases should be uniform in shape from top to bottom, measure 48 to 54 inches tall and eight to 10 inches wide, and weigh no more than five pounds.  Bases should be covered in vinyl; if this is not feasible, they should be covered in canvas.  Bases must also have a sound-emitting device, which should be place between 34 and 40 inches above ground level.  Finally, players must wear blindfolds/preventive eyewear to keep individuals with partial sight from having an unfair advantage.  Bats and gloves or mitts should meet standard softball guidelines.
