The Helen M. Galvin Center for Health and Fitness is located at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago. Made possible by private donations, this 4000 square foot facility was specifically created for people with physical disabilities and is free to participants. Its purpose is to provide an arena for individuals to develop, maintain and improve their physical well being. From regular exercise programs for health and fitness to training programs for competitive sports, RIC's Helen M.Galvin Center for Health and Fitness is fully equipped to prepare members for the benefits of long-term health and wellness. Monthly attendance has averaged 1850 visits over the past two years.
