Ms. Pfau Joined the Lakeshore Foundation in 2014 as a part time Videographer for NCHPAD. In the past year she has helped make a variety of films about people with disabilities. Some of the topics covered have been about the American Disabilities Act, Design 4 Disability, Inclusive Worksite Wellness, and more. She specializes in documentary style filmmaking and is currently leading a project about Lakeshores youth Goalball team. In the past she has made films for organizations such as the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), the VA, the Womens Fund of Greater Birmingham and more. Her past films have shown at a variety of film festivals, and have been featured on a number of websites. She hopes to make future films that envelop a wide variety of topics including environmental education, human rights, equality, and overall health awareness. Films are a way to educate the general public in a fun and accessible way. In order to live a healthy life, you need a healthy world, as well as an open mind for an inclusive environment.
