• Staff Training: Camp Cosmo staff consists of medical professionals (practitioners, nurses, diabetes educators, and dieticians) and experienced, trained counselors.

Camp Cosmo Adventure Camp provides an excellent opportunity for youth ages 10-16 who have diabetes to come together and have a great time! This year, campers will enjoy a week of fun at Cedar Canyon Wesleyan Camp located on the west side of Rapid City, SD (Transportation from Scottsbluff, NE will be provided). Come and meet new friends, learn new ways to manage diabetes, and most important: TO HAVE FUN!

Recreational activities include a variety of sports (soccer, volleyball, basketball, Frisbee golf, etc), swimming, archery, hiking, cave tours, campfires, and much more.

Camp will also include educational sessions that will cover a variety of the latest topics in diabetes management including insulin pumps, carb counting, risky behaviors, and other topics the campers express an interest in.
