Notes

Each year the TBI Program in collaboration with Easter Seals Tennessee Inc. sponsors a weekend and a weeklong camp for adult and youth survivors of brain injury. These camps focus on providing a unique social and recreational opportunity to persons with brain injury. Nestled between the banks of Old Hickory Lake and surrounded by protective woods, camp offers great outdoor fun. All cabins are fully accessible, air conditioned, and include accessible shower facilities. Camp activities include arts and crafts, swimming, hiking, games, boating, and a Saturday evening dance.

Nestled on the banks of Old Hickory Lake and surrounded by protective woods, camp offers great outdoor fun. All cabins are fully accessible and have heating and air conditioning, indoor plumbing with accessible shower facilities and individual beds. There are separate cabins for males and females that are supervised by Easter Seals staff. Meals are served in a lodge that also has full heating and air conditioning. The grounds are wheelchair accessible with hiking trails, an arts & crafts center, fully accessible swimming pool and docks that house pontoon boats. The dock also provides a safe setting for fishing. Everybody has the opportunity to participate in all camp functions.
