About | My name is Beth, and I am a single mom. I live alone with my son and another woman that rents from me. I like to ride bikes, hike, swim, walk, and do yoga. I live in the IE of Southern California, and I have a big dog I really enjoy. I don't always like to do activities alone. I prefer to have a friend, or my son do the activities with me. I have depression and anxiety since I was diagnosed with leukemia when I was 9.I was cured of my cancer at 15 yrs old. But I lost my mom to cancer in 2007. I also have hypothyroidism and am agoraphobic too. I do have my own business doing pet care for people in my area I live in. This includes walking dogs and help care for 12 cats. I enjoy my work even though its not very much. The animals make me happy and so do the people I work for too. I need help in finding others that would like to exercise with me, and help with my eating habits too. I grew up in a family that loved food a lot, but didn't exercise very much. I do try now to watch what I eat and make more healthy choices. |

Welcome to NCPAD's 14-Week Program to a Healthier You!
What is the program?
- Description: A free, personalized, web-based physical activity and nutrition program
- Target Audience: People with mobility limitations, chronic health conditions and physical disabilities
- Goal: To help you get moving and making healthy nutrition choices
- Duration: 14 weeks
How does it work?
- You register for the program and tell us a little about yourself.
- We take the information you gave us and, to the best of our abilities, provide you with personalized resources and exercises that meet your individual needs over the course of 14 weeks.
- Because there is new material each week that builds on the previous weeks, the program works best if you visit at least once a week.
